16" x 20" x 1.2” I have had a love affair with fringe for a very long time. Here, it looks like some sort of samurai costuming when I was thinking about setting better boundaries etc. Really, this assemblage is about illusion. The background and buckles look like old metal but they are really painted paper packing materials.
The metal parts are from the inner workings of a typewriter. I love to make real things look like fake other things!
